Sumer Brar's practice covers civil, criminal, corporate and commercial litigation extensively, including writ petitions pertaining to company matters and writs relating to service matters. He has extensive and specialised expertise in corporate and company matters, with strong domain knowledge and experience in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code proceedings and oppression and mismanagement cases before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).

He has a strong background of more than 17 years in criminal and quasi-criminal matters, consumer disputes, and cheque bounce cases under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, appearing before the Punjab & Haryana High Court, the District Courts, and the Company Law Tribunal. His experience includes writ petitions, drafting pleadings and motions, arguing summary judgment, and trial preparation.

Prior to joining Navlaw & Associates, he worked with a top-tier ("Tier-1") law firm of India, based out of their local offices in Delhi.
