Sahir received his Masters Degree in Business Laws from National Law School, Kolkata and BA.LLB Degree from UILS, Punjab University.

His area of practice includes civil, criminal, corporate and commercial litigation which includes Writ Petitions pertaining to MSME & Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, Writs relation to Service, Transfer, Workmen Compensations and Compassionate Appointment, and Civil suits relating to specific performance, injunction, claim for damages, matrimonial and family disputes, property disputes, criminal disputes – Direction petitions U/S 482 Crpc, Registration of F.I.R, Cancellation of Bail etc. Company disputes – Operational Mismanagement Sec. 241,242 of the C.A Act 2013 and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, Consumer disputes, Cheque Bounce cases under Sec. 138 NI Act, and appearing before High Court in Punjab & Haryana and District Courts, Company Law and MSME Facilitation Council. His experience includes writ petition, drafting pleadings and motions, arguing summary judgment and trial preparation.

Prior, to this he has also worked in matters related to Intellectual Property Law  and assisted In-House IP teams of Top 500 Fortune Companies like Apple, Amazon, LG, HP, OPPO etc. with preparation of invalidity contentions in accordance with Art 103 of US Patent Law.  Further, worked on ad hoc IP projects on patent enforcement strategies, commercialization and consulting clients globally.
